Black Beetle is a self contained power truck for: HO, S and light duty O Gauge. Manufactured in Australia and distributed in the USA by PA Heritage Models, Ltd..
This truck is recommended for use on single powered units with one trailer. Two powered trucks can be used on a car for improved performance.
Recommended maximum weight on pivot is 100g (3.5 oz.)
Matching non-powered trucks are available separately.
Units are assembled to meet your specifications. Although we do carry some of the more common trucks in stock, orders can take up to 4 weeks for delivery, if it is not in stock.

Wheels:
Available in various codes (88, 110, P4 and a HiRail version for S and O Gauge)
All wheels are equipped with Nickel Silver tires except HiRail versions.
Solid and spoked versions (8, 9, 10, 12 spokes depending on the diameter) are available. Check with us for spoke types and wheel diameters from .375" to .549"
Wheelbase:
Axle spacing available from 1" (25.5MM) to approximately 1 1/2" (40MM) with .01" (.25MM) increments
Axles are 2MM diameter and are made to the length of the gauge needed.

Truck has a molded support for mounting side frames (not included) using a screw or adhesive

Height:
Pivot is approximately 1/2" (12.4MM) above axel center. Add 1/2 wheel diameter to determine floor height above rail.
